How Durable Is Cork Fabric?
Cork fabric, like many other fabrics, has differing levels of quality based on what the end use will be. For example, a fabric used to cover books or act as a laminate has a lower quality grade than an upholstery grade cork fabric, which is the highest grade available. For all of QUEORK's uses, we carry two grades. One is the upholstery grade of fabric which is used on 90% of our products and the second is our shopper grade cork fabric that we use on Koozies and shopping bags. The shopping grade fabric is what is used in cheaper imitations from overseas and does not have any silicone sealant protecting the outer layer. This means that the fabric is not water or stain resistant and does not clean easily.
